What does SNAP for DL Learners Cost?

SNAP has a variety of different funding options for learners.

SNAP is funded by your child’s distributed learning school/ homeschool association. Each child enrolled in a DL school is provided with a designation which, in turn, determines the amount of funding allocated for that child’s educational needs. Generally, the greater the need the greater the amount of funding allocated.   SNAP invoices the homeschool association or distributed learning school directly in order to pay for each individual child’s program.

We will be happy to share with you where all of your child’s funding is going to.

For children who do not have a funded category (i.e. a special education designation), a membership cost is determined in conjunction with the family and the school in order to cover field trip and activity costs.

SNAP does not use specialised funding sources such as Autism Funding.
